The village grows: new houses, a mill and barracks under scaffolding, a palisade going up

Frequently asked

When does Kingdoms of Dominion come out?

We are testing it on real phones now. The release date will be announced on this site, and the App Store and Google Play buttons will turn into download links on the day.

Which devices can play it?

Android and iPhone, released together. The game is played in landscape and is built to run at a steady frame rate on mid-range phones.

Do I need an internet connection?

Not for single-player. The tutorial, the campaign and skirmish against the computer all work in airplane mode, and send nothing. Online play needs a connection; a LAN game needs two devices on the same Wi-Fi.

Can Android and iPhone players play together?

Yes. Online matches run the same deterministic simulation on both phones, so an Android phone and an iPhone can meet in the same game.

Are there ads or pay-to-win purchases?

No ads, and nothing you can buy makes your army stronger. The price will be announced before release.

Do I need an account?

No. Online play signs you in with an anonymous ID. You never have to give a name, an email address or a password to play.

What does the game collect?

Single-player sends nothing. Online play uses an anonymous player ID and the relay that connects the two phones. The privacy policy lists every detail.

Does this website track me?

No. It sets no cookies and shows no ads. It counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which stores nothing on your device and does not identify you; we see only totals. Section 12 of the privacy policy lists what it records.

Which multiplayer modes are there?

Release 1 brings Classic 1v1 online, with Quick Match, rooms and private codes, and LAN play on the same Wi-Fi. Team battles, 2v2 and then 4v4, follow.
