On the phone

Captured from the game at 1920 × 1080. Open any picture to see it full size, and use the arrow keys or swipe to move between them.

The main menu. Continue a saved game, play the campaign or a skirmish, find a multiplayer match, or open the Codex, over a live view of the menu map.
Under attack. A Feudal Age base raided by enemy militia: alerts across the top, the minimap and the selected unit's card, all in reach of your thumbs.
Army at the ready. Eight soldiers selected beside the Town Center, grouped by type, with retreat, formation, stance, patrol, hold and attack commands.
The Town Center. Train villagers, set a rally point and research the Feudal Age from the heart of your settlement.
The campaign. Six missions across the frontier, from a first harvest in the Vale to the Crown of Four Kingdoms.
Multiplayer. Quick Match, the room browser, private room codes, and LAN games with another phone on the same Wi-Fi.

Rendered from the game's models

Rendered in Blender from the game's own 3D models, with its camera and light.

The Imperial Age. One town at the end of the four ages: stone walls and a gatehouse, a keep, a monastery, a siege workshop and an army at the gate.
The Dark Age. The same town where every game begins: a Town Center, two houses, two farms and a lumber camp at the wood's edge.
Marching out. A Britons column leaves its castle past farms and a lumber camp; the hero film of this site.
The keep and gatehouse. A Britons stronghold of the Castle Age: keep, gatehouse, stone walls and a watchtower.
The charge. Heavy cavalry and halberdiers march out to meet an orange host.
The trebuchet. Siege engines break walls that swords cannot.

The four emblems

Each civilization flies its emblem on its buildings and banners, in its player colour.
